The cottage itself was beautifully designed and had a cozy atmosphere. It was great that the bathroom was located downstairs, as it worked well for me and my toddler. the kitchen was simple yet clean, and it had all the necessary amenities. Communication with the staff, particularly Stella, was excellent and any issues were quickly resolved.
One thing that could be improved is the quality of the provided toiletries. the toilet roll and washing up liquid seemed to be of low quality and not very eco-friendly.

We recently stayed at Shoemakers Cottage and it was a delightful experience. The cottage itself is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. We felt right at home with all the cozy comforts provided. We explored nearby towns like Deal, Canterbury, and Broadstairs on day trips, which added to the adventure of our stay. The communication with the owner, Stella, was excellent, and she promptly resolved any minor issues we encountered. While some local businesses were closed, we still managed to find hidden gems. The kitchen had all the essentials, making our stay convenient, and the fact that the bathroom was downstairs worked perfectly for our needs. The only improvement we could suggest is eco-friendly alternatives for household essentials like toilet paper and washing up liquid. we had a wonderful time at Shoemakers Cottage and would highly recommend it for a cozy and charming stay.
